Operation Search & Help Mission

Operation Search & Help bridges the gap for individuals in Mahoning and Trumbull Counties by offering last-dollar assistance to individuals with special needs, behavioral health challenges, and chronic medical conditions.

Did You Know?

Operation Search & Help assists families who have children, birth through 21 years of age, with a diagnosed medical condition, behavioral health issues, and other special needs.

The organization is funded by a grant through The Youngstown Foundation and housed at Potential Development School for Students with Autism. Since its origin, Operation Search & Help has served thousands of children and families in need.

Speech, occupational and physical therapy co-pays

Supplies

We welcome referrals from any individual, facility, or community organization that identify a family in need.

Reach out to operation search & help if the following criteria is Met:

Have a child, birth to age 21, with chronic illness, behavioral health issues, disability or special needs

Child is a resident of Mahoning or Trumbull County.

Child must have a supporting medical diagnosis

Clients may have health insurance and be involved with other programs; Operation Search & Help will act as payor of last resort.
